System Manager/Session Manager/ Session Border Controller

Course Overview

When: November 4–8, 2019 from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Cost: $3500.00 | Duration: 5 Days

Prerequisites: Understanding of SIP and Telephony Call Routing. Students need to bring their own laptop with ASA loaded.

In this course, you will be introduced to the various levels of System Manager, Session Manager and Session Border Controller as a core communication service that adds SIP-based architecture to Avaya Aura solutions. Describe the core components, key features and deployment models for an Aura deployment. Design a customer solution for a centralized location of Session Manager in a network composed of multiple sites, different platforms, endpoints and applications. During the course, you will create a virtual enterprise organization, setting up accounts and a SIP network between 4 different pods and the PSTN.

Audience: System administrators who have a need for or are looking to develop a thorough understanding of System Manager and its use in the Avaya Communication Manager environment.
