Avaya Communication Manager Basic System Administration Training

Basic Architecture: Review of Avaya Aura Communication Manager hardware including servers, media gateways, media modules, and endpoints. Review Avaya Aura Communication Manager system architecture, features and functionality.
Moves, Adds and Changes: By the end of this class students will have a stronger understanding of the Avaya Aura Communication Manager and Aura Messaging Element tool via Avaya Aura System Manager. Avaya Aura System Manager centralizes provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting to simplify and reduce management complexity and solution servicing. In the class we will review at a high level the class of restrictions, class of services, hunt groups, types of coverage, paging, trunk and more. Students will have a lab environment with phones at each desk. Hands-on activities are incorporated in the curriculum to develop new skills utilizing these tools.
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Students will learn how to display alarms and errors, troubleshoot issues and practice resolving regular day to day phone related problems.
Audience: Personnel with system administration responsibilities. Both new system administrators and those administrators that need a refresher will benefit from this training.
