About Curtis

What led you to a job at Cerium Networks?
I started out with Cerium as an Implementation Engineer before moving to the Solutions Architect role back in 2013. I had a great experience with working with Cerium in the past, and really enjoy the technology that we get to work with every day.

What is your favorite part of working in Technology?
The best part of working in technology is finding ways for it to help people and companies solve complex problems using down-to-earth methods that actually work. When you design and configure a technology that provides immediate ways to help people and organizations grow, it is very rewarding and fulfilling.

Outside of technology, what is your dream job?
Anything involving golf and/or the PGA tour. I don’t have the skillset required to actually be a player, but anything in that industry would be fun.

What is your favorite thing about working at Cerium?
The people that I get to work with on a daily basis. Cerium has some of the best and brightest minds in the industry working on complex unified communications solutions.

What do you do when you’re not at work?
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Have kids!

What is something most people don’t know about you?
At my heart, I’m a country boy living a city life. Perhaps when I get closer to retirement, I’ll be able to get some land and do anything but computer technologies.

What is your favorite TV show or movie?
Game of Thrones – until season 8.

Who is your idol?
I don’t know that I have an idol today – but I had many figures I looked up to as a kid. Michael Jordan, Joe Montana and Tiger Woods were some just to name a few.
