Cerium Networks is a privately-held Washington corporation with a core business of the design, implementation, management and support of integrated networked communication solutions. This includes telephony, mobility, messaging, contact center, video communications, data center, network security, route/switch and wireless. Since our inception, Cerium has delivered communication solutions to over 1300 distinct clients in the Pacific Northwest that support over 160,000 end users. Our telephony and UC deployments have been comprised of a mix of solutions from Avaya, Cisco, and Microsoft.

Our strength lies in our consultative approach, deep technical expertise, local resources, and extensive strategic partnerships.  This allows us to deliver and support the advanced technology solutions that become the foundation of our mid-market and enterprise customer’s business at a level unmatched in the Northwest.

Headquartered in Spokane, WA, Cerium operates through eight offices in the Northwest in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, as well as an office in Manila which augments our 24/7/365 Network Operations Center. Today Cerium employs more than 150 technology professionals, including some of the most highly skilled engineers and solutions architects in the industry.

At Cerium Networks, we pride ourselves on our culture of excellence in providing consultative services and depth of expertise. This culture has helped make us a trusted technology partner for our customers, many of whom have been with us since our inception in October 2000. It has also been a thread that binds us as a professional team. Cerium has excellent employee retention, and many of our experts have been with us for more than a decade. This is part of our success formula.

In early 2015, we embarked on a journey to understand how we could preserve this culture for the years ahead, as we continue to grow. We understand that preserving our corporate culture is critical to assuring our success and differentiation in the marketplace. The journey began with intensive discovery and acknowledgement about who we are and how we got here. We had to ask ourselves some hard questions. Who are we? What makes us a cohesive, functional and efficient team? What makes our customer relationships strong? What does it look like when we are at our best?  What does it look like when we are at our worst?

We truly wanted to know the answers, because preserving and strengthening our culture is important to us. We started by developing success statements that we find to be true, and that we believe in. We also built success statements for what we wish to be true. We developed key words that describe and define our core values. Then we created ambitious goals that we aspire to achieve.

We’d like to share some of our success statements and values with you, and share our ongoing journey to greater efficiencies, strengthened values and exploring how we’ll sustain our culture for years to come:
